 Batavia Air starts to operate on January 5, 2002. Founded by Mr. Yudiawan Tansari, the President Director, Batavia Air begin with 1 unit Fokker F28 and 2 unit Boeing 737-200.
Batavia Air is the first Indonesian Airlines since January 2006 which operates with Airbus A-319 among our fleet. Now Batavia Air operates 36 aircrafts consist of Boeing 737-200, 737-300, 737-400, Airbus A-319 and Airbus A-320. Batavia Air have 150 flight each day to 29 destination city in Indonesia, Guangzhou-China and Kuching-Malaysia.

In August 2003, AirAsia became the first airline in the world to introduce SMS booking where guests can now book their seats, check flight schedules and obtain latest updates on AirAsia promotions from the convenience of their mobile phones. AirAsia also recently introduced Go Holiday, the airline’s online programme where guests can book holiday packages online in real time. |
