WHITE WATER RAFTING TEAM BUILDING
A Team Building day on the Ayung River is an experience that can be tailored to both test and exhilarate members with tasks set along the way to compliment our standard rafting tour. A ‘Task Sheet’ is issued at the start and instructions given for each group captain to follow in order to gain a maximum amount of points. The tour is designed to be challenging and to help enhance members' skills and teamwork ability.
Bali Adventure Rafting was established in 1990 on Bali’s longest river, the Ayung, chosen not only for its scenic beauty but also its accessibility to the main tourist areas. The section of river rafted is less than one hour’s drive from Kuta with asphalt road access right in to the Reception Complex, built high on the banks of the river. The complex itself combines the tranquil Balinese Village feeling with facilities designed for fast processing and outfitting of guests.
A short 5 minute walk down the engineered steps to the river finds you ready for action as teams group together and board the waiting British Avon Rafts. One of the company’s experienced guides will then issue instructions and safety procedures before you depart on your two hours of thrills, spills and fun-filled adventure. The river section consists of over 20 sets of rapids along an 8 kilometer stretch, one of the island’s longest white water rafting trips.
On the river you will meet the challenges of negotiating curves and rocks, through exhilarating rapids and along stretches of tranquil water set amongst towering vine-hung gorges. Once on the water, teams have numerous tasks to perform that include – obstacles to traverse, a bell to ring, flags to gather or other challenges set to test their skills. Teams also have to race the clock to add more points to their scorecards. At the end of the river Bali Adventure Rafting has its own restaurant complex that awaits exhausted rafters with welcoming hot showers and a magnificent buffet meal. A full bar is on site for either a cool drink or a glass of wine or beer to celebrate your team's victory when scores are tallied and the winning team is announced.
Bali Adventure Rafting can accommodate small or large groups of participants. In November 1997 Bali Adventure Rafting handled the largest rafting group to come to Bali, this was from Amway, Korea and consisted of almost two and a half thousand people who rafted over a five day period. TASK CHOICES (maximum 6 tasks or 100 scores per session) Save the Paper Lantern (30 points) Challenge your team’s alertness and vigilant nature as members work hard to save a paper lantern from getting wet or damaged during the wild river run.
